A Wiccan companion

wıtchen

The first grimoire that writes itself.

True moon phases, a living Book of Shadows, your coven, your kitchen, and the tarot, gathered into one quiet and beautiful place. For Wiccans, and for the witch curious.

Why Witchen exists

Most spiritual apps are slot machines. Witchen is a garden. No feeds. No counts. No noise. Just the moon, your book, and your people.

It began with a simple wish: a Book of Shadows that actually understands the craft. Templated entries, real correspondences, timing you can trust, and a memory that learns how your own magic moves through the year.

The daily practice

Five quiet minutes,
every day.

01

Daily Herb

Ninety six herbs, true to the season. Each one with its story, its correspondences, and one small thing to try today.

Safety notes on every herb, always.

02

Moon Phase

The real moon, computed astronomically. Phase, illumination, and the next turning, down to the minute.

The sky is the source of truth.

03

Daily Rune

Twenty four Elder Futhark runes, drawn fresh each day, with a plain word and a gentle practice.

Old alphabets, new mornings.

04

Daily Reflection

A thousand original reflections, one per day, nearly three years before one repeats. Read it, hear it, keep it.

Written like letters, not slogans.

The Grimoire

Your Book of Shadows,
kept like a book.

Parchment pages, a bound spine, page numbers in the margin. Entries for ritual, spell, dream, and divination, each one stamped with the moon that watched you write it.

  • The spell architect.

Tell it your intent in plain words. It drafts the whole working: timing, ingredients, words.

  • A living correspondence library.

Herbs, stones, colors, planets, moon phases, each tagged with its lineage and whether it is open to you.

  • Oathbound means oathbound.

Mark any entry oathbound and it is sealed: never exported, never shared, never synced.

The Circle

The hearth
of the app.

Find your coven or walk the seeker path. Ask for energy when you need it, and hold light for others. At the full moon, the app can walk the whole circle through the rite together, breath by breath.

  • The energy board.

Post a need. Your people tap a candle lit for you. Warmth you can see.

  • Private means private.

Covens are closed rooms. No exact location, ever. Block anyone, leave quietly.

  • No counts, no ranks, no feeds.

Community without the casino. This is carved over the door.

The Cauldron

The kitchen
is an altar.

One hundred and fifty recipes by intent and moon phase, Sabbat menus for all eight festivals, and kitchen correspondences for every spice on your shelf.

  • Cook by the moon.

Waxing moon breads, waning moon soups. The phase sets the menu.

  • Sabbat tables.

A dish and a drink for every festival, kept simple enough to actually make.

Tarot

Seventy eight mirrors.

A full tarot with original meanings, honest framing, and readings that teach as they reveal. Reflection, never fortune telling.

The app

Calm in
your hand.

A dashboard that greets you like morning light. Between-the-worlds ritual mode when you need silence. A discreet mode that lets the app look like anything but. Text sizes, high contrast, and full screen reader support as a baseline, not a favor.

The Witchen dashboard: daily herb, moon phase, rune, and reflection cards

The ethics

Held to the Rede.

Three promises, kept in the code itself.

Harm none

No coercive workings, ever. The app will not help you target a named person, and it says so plainly when you ask.

Your book stays yours

Your Book of Shadows lives on your phone, not our servers. No exact location, ever. Oathbound entries cannot leave the device by construction.

Respect is contextual

Every correspondence carries its lineage: where it comes from, whose it is, whether it is open. Closed practices stay closed, with an alternative offered instead.
